With Now You See Me done, I've been wandering around the house, trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do. For so many months the book has taken up most of my waking hours, and even made its presence in my dreams.
My agent's assistant e-mailed me after reading the book. She loves it, but she did have several excellent suggestions, which I immediately implemented. One of them involved repositioning two chapters. Easy enough to do on a computer...
I'm looking forward to receiving the copy-edited manuscript. And the jacket art, though that's a way off.
I started catching up with the little details that I've ignored during the past six months. Termites, a few leaks in the roof (made evident by the torrential Los Angeles rains), mounds of bills, needing to be filed, that I'd crammed into a desk drawer until I had the time to file them.
