Just tonight we saw a roach inside our sharp microwave (in the clock display) that we bought from target! I think someone needs to do something about that!

Barbara -- in the fax machine!! Say it ain't so!

I've noticed a smoky odor coming from my printer...but that started long before the roaches invaded our home.

Now I'm wondering...

Hi Rochelle, I'm a regular reader (and commentor) on Robert Avrech's blog and Pearl's. I was at the Ariel Avrech lecture, as I understand you were, as well (Pearl told me you were sitting together) I think I may have seen you at a Brandeis lecture/luncheon years ago...have you ever spoken at Brandeis' "Words, Wit, and Wisdom" luncheon? Just curious if my memory has anything left to it, or if I'm hallucinating!!I love the saying, "of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most"! Anyway, I enjoy your blog

Oh, I hate those things. San Diego is full of them--German cockroaches as well as the larger water bugs. In an office where I once worked we had a fax machine that suddenly stopped functioning. The repairman came, opened up the machine, and found a nest of roaches inside.

My son says that if the Target on Santa Monica and Highland is shut down in the next few days...we'll all know why. :-)

You know. That was the RIGHT thing to do...or as my friend Shoshana says, the rrrrrriiiiiigggghhhhtttt thing to do (in her Israeli accent of course.) I have to tell my friend Amy who had a less than stellar experience at Target with a video game earlier this year. I am so glad they did that for you. Now to get Sharp to hermetically seal off the electronics.
