Such problems you have! A noisy jacuzzi motor! I would love to have a home even if it was next to a neighbor with a jacuzzi.

Chaia, your advise is exactly what my daughter advised - don't go to the neighbor, phone the police. But I'm reluctant to do that before talking to the neighbor -- who, by the way, had his radio on outside all night, and partied till 4 in the morning.

Just read the bit about your new neighbors. We found out the hard way, that the best thing is not to deal with the situation personally, but to call the police department. They will not tell the neighbor who called, and it will hopefully cure the problem. We live in a small town, so the police take care of loose dogs and late noises.
Love your books. The way you integrate mitzvos into the stories is impressive.
