I loved the step-mother, Ilana-Davita. I found her character refreshingly honest and complex: She's irritated by her step-daughter and disapproving of the pregnancy, but also fiercely protective.

I've just seen it and enjoyed it very much too! I also found the step-mother an interesting, unusual and moving character.
